I called around and got 3 estimates and they were more than one and less than another, so I picked them. **Update** Afterwards, I was glad because the cheaper company did my neighbor's house, and their roof is leaking, and they don't return calls. Thank goodness I went with Virgina's because they are bonded and insured and certified roofers.

Comment: What I liked was they wouldn't just ******(redacted) rig it like I asked them to. Troy flat out told me that they don't do that type of work. He said there's a lot of guys out there that will take your money, but they're not going to be around or warrant it etc. I was just trying to save money is all. However, as cost keep going up, I'm sure it won't be any cheaper next year. I was surprised by the number of roofs Troy told me he walks away from because they don't do half-a** (redacted) work. I know one in particular they walked away from, and I see they have *** Roofing (redacted) doing it. It just makes you wonder is all. If I'm going to pay someone then I want the best, if you have cancer wouldn't you want the best surgeon? and not someone that is cheap and just takes your money? Comment: My mother lives in our old home and I'm states away and since my dad past she really doesn't have anyone to help her out. Eventually, she'll need to move to an assisted living facility, but until then she likes her independent life with her little dog. She's active in her Church and was getting some 'supposedly good Christians' to help her. I suspected she was possibly being taken advantage of, so I had these guys come check on a few things and I was glad I did. They took care of all her issues and charged me less than what those 'supposed Christians' wanted. Also, when talking with the owner, he was very understanding and even offered to stop by and check on mom if I ever had any worries. I thought that was nice to know. It's nice that there are still honest people helping others out of the kindness of their heart.

Comment: This is a weird one, my garage door opener quit working, so I called ********* (redacted) because I heard them on the radio. They told me the main controller board was bad and it would be $250 to replace it. I said, not thanks because I could just purchase a new opener. The door would work if I pushed the button inside, but none of the remotes worked or worked sporadically. I changed battlers and everything, so it seemed logical it was bad. I went to Lowes and bought a new one and they recommended I have Virgina's install it. Troy came out and I told him what I wanted, and he looked at my old one and said it wasn't working because I had put in the wrong light builds. I though he was pulling my leg, so he replaced the bulbs, and it works great. He said certain LED bulbs interfere with the signal. He was right, I took my unopened box back to Lowes. Best part, there was no charge and I guess these guys know what they're doing.

Comment: When raindrops conspired against my roof, I turned to Virginia Roofing and Construction Co. Their ex-military precision pinpointed the leak’s origin. Swiftly, they sealed the breach, leaving my home dry and secure. The veteran discount was a nod to shared service. Trust them—your roof deserves it. I called others and they wanted to do a costly replacement. Ashton and Stever inspected it and said they could repair it for a lot less and I'd probably be good for another 10 years before I needed to have it replaced. This saved me a lot and when it's time to replace it, I'm calling these guys.

Comment: I had a shower that started leaking and I had to turn off the water to it. Everyone I called never showed up or wanted too much to fix it. One guy even took it apart and left to go get parts after paying him $50 and he never came back. I'm 86 years old and on a fixed income so I couldn't pay much and that hurt. I told my daughter I couldn't shower and was washing up in the sink, she said to call these guys, Troy came over and he had it fixed in about 45 minutes, and it works great. The best part was he only charged me $35, and the owner let me pay $20 this month and the rest next month when I get my social security. These guys will be in my prayers this Sunday at church. Thank you, Troy, God will have a special place someday for you.
