Comment: I hired someone else to do my roof and they f****** it up and never completed it and the section they did do was leaking. I had to have Virginia's come out and fix and finish it. Troy told me it would have been cheaper to just have him do it; but he saved me as much money as he could by reusing as much as he could from the other guys. I should have known something was fishy because the other roofers had me pull the building permit. I guess there's a lot of roofers running around but you have to be licensed and bonded to pull a building permit unless you're the homeowner. That's why they had me get the permit.

Comment: Beware, I have the same house as my sister, and she lives about a 1/4 from me. Both houses were built the same year, same construction company back in 90's. Our roofs were both needing to be replaced. I went with these guys because I didn't like the others. My sister didn't go with Virginia's because she was got a 'proposal' for about $3,000 less from another company. I too had a 'proposal' for the lesser amount; however, I liked these guys better. When it was all done, my sister spent $500 more than me because that company charged for extras they claim weren't in the 'proposal'. In other words, I guess there's lots of company's giving 'lower estimates' and then charging more than what they said like my sister discovered. Troy, from Virginia's, told me he's heard of a lot of guys doing that. He said, cheap isn't always better; I'm happy with what these guys did, and I like the looks of my roof. My sister has also had several shingles blow off to deal with.

Comment: Wanted some things cleaned up and a shed tore down. I'm getting too old to do this stuff. Not a big job, but they came over and took care of it. While they were here, I had a flat tire on my car. Steve took it off and took it to have it patched for me. He didn't even charge me, I just had to reimburse him for what the tire place charged to fix it. So, I bought him and his worker 'Doug' a pizza for lunch. A nice bunch of guys and reasonable. The owner stopped by and scolded me for feeding the help, he said they'd get spoiled and would now want lunch every day. He was joking of course, but he and my cousin hit it off as they talked about their Army days and what the Cubs will be doing this year. Nice to see local businesses still working and caring about service. Thanks, and PS> I'm a Sox fan

Comment: I didn't use these guys for my roof, they were a few thousand more than another guy. I should have known; you get what you pay for. My insurance company would NOT pay for the work that was done and suggested I call Troy. He has me now on their schedule and will be using their payment plan to get my roof fixed; hopefully they can get me fixed up before I have any more problems. Anyone wanting work done, be careful there's a lot of shady contractors out there taking your money. Don't do like I did, cheap isn't what you want when someone is doing work for you.

Thank goodness I used these guys because I was going to use someone else before my agent told me to call these guys. If I would have used who I was going to use, it wouldn't have been insurable because the other contractor wasn't licensed and bonded. Comment: We had a lot of hail damage and needed someone to work with our insurance company that was certified and licensed. I hired these guys, and they fixed my roof, and it was all covered on my insurance but the deductible. I got a 35-year warranty and storm grade shingle.

Comment: No issues. There was more damage once they tore off the roof than they thought. Thank God they worked with the insurance and got an adjustment. My Agent said that a lot of guys would just not have fixed it like these guys did. I got a roof now that will last the rest of my life. Comment: I didn't have these guys do my roof, but my father did and said I should ask Troy to come over and look at the workmanship before I paid the other contractor the final payment. Ashton and Troy came over and I know everyone has an opinion, but they pointed out several things that were wrong. They only charged me $75 and it was the best money I spent. The other contractor was pissed and tried to argue with me, but in the end they fixed it. Not sure if they do inspections or it was just a favor because my dad knew Troy, but I'm glad they helped me out. I should have just called Troy to begin with, but he was backed up and I didn't want to wait and I thought I could save some money.
